- Confirm that you are selecting the “Wire-Free Switch/Remote” category under Add New devices
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
- Make sure your phone is within 25 feet of the switch
- Confirm the battery pull tab is removed and the switch is in set up mode (LED light is blinking blue)
- Force close the C by GE app, then reopen the app and try again.
- If the above solutions did not work, you can factory reset the device by pressing and holding the pinhole button until the LED indicator lights up red. Usually takes 3+ seconds.
